Loyola earns top ranks in Payscale reports

Loyola ranks in top 8% of U.S. universities for return on investment and in the top 5% of U.S. colleges and universities for mid-career salary potential according to two recently released reports by Payscale.com.

Loyola ranked No. 89 out of the more than 1,600 U.S. universities in the 2018-2019 College Salary Report. Loyola ranked No. 2 in Maryland for salary potential. Loyola also ranked in the top 6% for private schools, the top 2% for religious schools, and the top 12% for sports fans.

 PayScale also ranked Loyola’s majors by salary potential:

  • Communication majors: No. 19
  • Business majors: No. 38
  • Engineering majors: No. 77
  • Computer science majors: No. 91
  • Science majors: No. 275
  • Humanities majors: No. 133
  • Social science majors: No. 308
