Jenkins Hall

Â鶹ľ«Ńˇ has been named one of the nation’s “Best Colleges for Your Money” by Money Magazine in its 2020-2021 higher education value rankings.

Loyola ranked no. 365 on the list of 739 U.S. colleges and universities on ˛Ń´Ç˛Ô±đ˛â’s list. Undergraduate Loyola alumni reported an average salary of $56,300 within five years of graduation, according to the report. The six-year graduation rate is 80% at Loyola compared to 65.4% nationally.

Money focused on three primary factors to rank schools: quality of education, affordability, and outcomes. One of the heaviest-weighted variables in in calculation was affordability—accounting for 40% of the ranking. Money noted that net price of a degree, net price by income bracket, educational debt, and ability to repay made up the affordability category.

“Money Magazine’s primary factors for college value are especially relevant in the face of today’s economic uncertainty,” said James Dickinson, Ph.D., assistant vice president for career services. “Our Career Services team is proud to support Loyola’s tradition of exceptional outcomes after graduation through helping students define their goals and get ready to reach them. Those outcomes would not be possible without the exceptional quality of education each student receives. Our students achieve exceptional results partly because of Loyola’s academic experience and partly due to a culture across campus that promotes professional readiness. It’s an honor to be recognized along with the other prestigious institutions on this list.”
