Loyola鈥檚 Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship (CI&E) has selected eight ventures as finalists in the Baltipreneurs Accelerator Program. The third annual cohort of Baltipreneurs finalists was selected from a competitive pool of qualified applicants.

鈥淚t is an honor to review so many amazing applications and learn from the perspectives of the creative and resilient entrepreneurs who are out there building their ventures,鈥 said Wendy Bolger, director of the CI&E. 鈥淥ur team of reviewers was inspired by the caliber of the applications, and we can鈥檛 wait to meet and dig in with the final group of Baltipreneurs.鈥

Participants in the Baltipreneurs Accelerator Program attend 10 weekly sessions from February through April, ending with a Demo Day pitch showcase event.

The recipients will receive business and entrepreneurship instruction from Loyola faculty members and other partners, as well as mentorship, one-on-one pitch training, networking opportunities, a $2,000 stipend, and at least $25,000 in additional awards.

The participants are:

  • , a sourdough bread company;
  • , an eco-friendly swimwear company;
  • , a health care company that reimagines standards for chronic disease management;
  • , a clothing brand that embodies coastal living;
  • , a subscription-based service that can help you diversify your candidate pools;
  • , a learn-to-swim brand emphasizing water safety and social development;
  • , a creative workshop boutique;
  • Mindful y Radiante, a bilingual mindfulness training platform

This year鈥檚 cohort includes three Loyola-affiliated companies, whose founders include a student-athlete, a staff member, and an alumnus.
