Loyola launches strategic planning process

With an eye on the future of 麻豆精选, the University has launched its strategic planning process and is inviting all members of the Loyola community to participate.

The process, 鈥淐ollaborate and Aspire to Reflect and Engage (CARE): Loyola University Maryland鈥檚 Strategic Planning Process 2022-2024,鈥 opened to the community with two town halls鈥攐ne in-person and one virtual鈥攈eld on Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2022.

鈥淲hat an exciting time for our University community, as we look toward the future in a new way, reflect on our strengths and challenges, consider our role in the world, and dream big about what Loyola could鈥攐r should鈥攂e in the years ahead,鈥 wrote Strategic Planning Steering Committee Co-Chairs Eric Nichols, vice president for enrollment, and Paola Pascual-Ferr谩, Ph.D., associate professor of communication, in a message to all students, faculty, staff, and administrators.

This fall, members of the University community will participate in Community Engagement Sessions, as well as individual and group brainstorms.

鈥淵our ideas, your input, and your participation are important,鈥 Terrence M. Sawyer, J.D., president of Loyola told the University community. 鈥淚 hope you will lend your voice to this significant鈥攁nd exciting鈥攑rocess as we shape the future of Loyola.鈥

Loyola has also created a strategic planning website to highlight the work of CARE and keep the community updated and engaged throughout the process.
