Loyola鈥檚 Sellinger School of Business partners with Institute of World Politics

A dusting of snow covers the Sellinger School of Business building at 麻豆精选

麻豆精选鈥檚 Sellinger School of Business and Management has launched a partnership with (IWP), a graduate school in Washington, D.C., that teaches national security and international affairs. The partnership creates opportunities for students at Loyola and IWP to study under faculty at both schools.

鈥淲e鈥檙e excited to open doors for our students interested in taking what they learned at Sellinger into the realm of national security and international affairs as well as providing an opportunity to participate in a differentiated internship while an undergraduate,鈥 said Mary Ann Scully, MBA 鈥79, dean of Loyola鈥檚 Sellinger School of Business. 鈥淥ur collaboration with The Institute of World Politics also opens doors for IWP students interested in advancing and demonstrating their business acumen at Loyola to complement their national security and international affairs education. This collaboration leverages the strengths of the two institutions to the benefit of our students鈥 success.鈥

The partnership includes a $2,200-per-semester scholarship for Loyola graduates pursuing a graduate degree on-site at IWP. In addition, Loyola graduates in IWP鈥檚 online Master of Arts program pay a reduced tuition of $500 per credit hour. Loyola graduates can enroll at IWP through a streamlined admission process with early assurance.

In addition, the partnership provides Loyola undergraduate students priority consideration for IWP鈥檚 internship program in Washington, D.C., which prepares participants for a career in national security and statecraft.

鈥淲e designed the partnership to provide maximum benefit to Sellinger students and students at The Institute of World Politics,鈥 said Hung-bin Ding, Ph.D., associate dean at Loyola鈥檚 Sellinger School. 鈥淎s we continue to collaborate, Loyola students will get to visit The Institute of World Politics, and we welcome The Institute鈥檚 students at Sellinger and on our international study tours. We鈥檙e looking forward to growing our relationship.鈥
