Biography
Brant is an Executive in Residence in Operations Management at Â鶹¾«Ñ¡. He has over 30 years of Supply Chain experience with Fortune 500 multinational companies in the Food, Consumer Good, and Healthcare Industry. This has included executive roles with McCormick & Company and Johnson & Johnson. He has lived and worked in the United States and Europe, traveled to 50 countries, and has done business in over 80 countries. Most recently, his role at McCormick was Vice President, Global Strategic Procurement where he was responsible for McCormick's incoming supply and external spend. As Procurement Function Head, he led an international team across 15 countries to maximize value through enterprise-wide supply strategies and was instrumental in driving McCormick’s strategic growth and sustainability commitments, optimizing and de-risking the external supply chain, ensuring a continuous supply of materials, and leveraging external capabilities. At Johnson & Johnson, Brant held several key procurement leadership roles, culminating as Enterprise Source Strategy Lead, where he guided J&J’s End-to-End Supply Chain transformation. He also served as Chief Procurement Officer for various divisions, including Consumer Europe, Over-The-Counter Drug & Nutritional and North America Consumer, achieving significant cost savings, acquisition integration, and SAP implementation.
Brant serves as a member of the Board of Directors & Executive Committee for the World Trade Center Institute (WTCI). WTCI in Baltimore is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting international trade and business connections, fostering global economic growth through a network of international business leaders and trade professionals.
He has a Bachelor and Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from Lehigh University, with a focus on Operations Research and has completed coursework requirements for his Ph.D. His interest is in bringing practical insights, approaches, and experiences to Academia to help prepare tomorrow's business leaders.
